Abstract

John B. Seidel writes to Agricultural College of Pennsylvania president Evan Pugh complaining that Pugh let his sixteen-year-old son Jonathan Albert Seidel join the army to fight in the Civil War without getting parental consent or writing to let them know in which regiment he served.
